  • What type of paint/materials do you use?
I use archival quality paints and varnish to stand the test of time. Your canvas will be 1.5" gallery wrapped with finished edges, perfect for hanging as is or with a frame.
  • How much do live wedding painters cost?
It is hard to give an exact answer of a live wedding painter cost. Prices vary drastically based on many factors including location, experience, materials, etc. My packages start at $1200. These packages are completely customizable for your unique event. Inquire here to get an exact quote
  • What is required to book you for my event?
To secure your date, fill out the contact form to see if your date is available. I will get back to your within 48 hours. If your date is available, we can create a process that works best for you. We can do a consultation via email, phone, or video, your choice. This will be to determine your vision and what size canvas will perfectly capture your big day. Once we have your package customized to you, I will send you a contract for you to go over and sign. The last step is to put down a 25% deposit to secure your date on the calendar.
  • Do you accept payment plans?
I am very flexible with payments. The 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date in the calendar. The remaining 75% can be paid at any time in any increment that works best for you. My only requirement is that the balance is paid no later than 1 week prior to your event.
  • Will you require any special provisions from the venue?
I bring everything I need with me. The only thing I require from the venue is the space. Ideally, 6'x6' will be adequate to fit all my equipment. For wedding where I fly in, I do request a chair from the venue.
  • Where are you located, and do you travel?
I am located in the Nashville, TN area. Travel within 2 hours of my location is included in the base package price. For events farther than 2 hours (around 100 miles), a travel fee will be added for overnight accommodations. Inquire here for a personalized travel quote.
  • How long does it take to get my painting back after the wedding?
I ideally try to get your painting back to you within 6 weeks of your wedding date. During wedding season, this could be up to 10 weeks at the most.
  • Who pays for the shipping of the finished painting?
Shipping is included in your package prices. Depending on your location, we can also arrange for hand delivery. This avoids any possibility of anything happening to your painting during shipping.
  • Can I choose the scene or moment from my wedding that I want you to paint?
Absolutely! Many couples come to me with an idea of what moment they want captured. If you aren't sure of a scene, but know you want a painter, I can help you choose! We can discuss some ideas you have and look at some pictures of your venue to see what would make the perfect painting.
  • Can you include people who couldn’t attend the wedding in the painting?
Absolutely! People can be added to your package for an additional fee. We can include those that can't attend for any reason, including loved ones that have passed prior to your wedding. I can even include your fur babies even if they aren't there!
  • Do you offer framing services?
I am in the process of adding framing as an option for your package. If you are interested in adding this before I official offer it, let me know in our consultation and I can make it happen.
  • What happens to my deposit if I have to cancel or postpone my event?
If you have to cancel or postpone your event for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible. If I am available for the rescheduled date, we can simply transfer the date. If I am unavailable for your rescheduled date or you cancel your event, you will receive a refund of any payment made beside the 25% non-refundable deposit.
  • What happens if you can't make it to my event?
Unfortunately, extenuating circumstances can occur and cause me to not be able to make it to your event. In the event I cannot make it to your wedding, I will email the day of contact (often you coordinator) as soon as I know I am not able to make it. I will present a couple options for you to choose from: You can choose to receive a refund for the difference between your live painting package and the commission price for the same size canvas. I will then work from reference photos to create a studio commission. As an apology, I will upgrade to the next size up at no additional cost. You can choose to receive a full refund including the 25% deposit.
